TSSC Challenge 166

Well it is only Thurs. and I am posting my sketch for this week's sketch challenge on Mary Jo's blog http://www.technostamper.com/

Here is the sketch and here is the card that I made using the new designer paper that will be in the new catalog in July!!  I just love this paper Paisley Petals which will be available in April!

Unfortunately, the image is a little washed out.  My camera is broken so had to use Emily's camera and I couldn't get the lighting just right.

The background is crumb cake.  The designer paper is layered on Not quite Navy.  The decorative strip is cut from Not quite Navy with pearls added to the center of the strip.

You can check out the other ideas that my fellow stampers have designed below.

Have a great weekend!

TSSC Challenge #165

Happy Monday!  On Monday Mary Jo posts a sketch challenge on the technostamper blog...

Today I wanted to play around with my new designer paper and stamps that I just received from my pre-order for the upcoming promotion in April.

This new set, Four Frames, will be offered with new designer paper Paisley Prints in April for FREE for hostesses with parties that total $350 or more!!  What a great deal!!  This paper is absolutely beautiful!!  Stay tuned for more cards and ideas with the paper.

Rather than using flowers on my card, I used the butterfiles from the Sisslet butterfly die.  This is my favorite and most used Sissix die!  I enhanced the butterflies with a couple of jewels.  After all, butterflies should have some sparkle!

When looking at this new DSP, am I seeing some new in-colors???  The background of this pattern matches with the old in-color groovy gauva...  Is gauva coming back or maybe a coordinating shade?

Also - I found that Apricot Appeal looked really nice with this paper.  So I pulled out an old sheet.  So stay tuned!

Have a great Stampin' Week!
