Happy Day Before Easter!Well the family is all together. This week is my Mother-in-law's 70th birthday so... the granddaughter's decided that they wanted to make a cake. And for those of you that follow my blogging, Emily my daughter took a series of cake decorating classes last fall...
So here is today's masterpiece! It is a vanilla cake with lemon custard filling. The top is decorated with fresh raspberries.
From left to right are my neices Hillary - 13 & Aiden 15 and my daughter Emily 14.
Can't wait to dig in tonight!!! We decided we would celebrate her birthday tonight since everyone is here and tomorrow is the big Easter celebration.
