This week's blogger's challenge is to make something patriotic.. Of course, once I started working on it, several ideas came to mind. So.... Here are two ideas that I had.
The card on the left is made with Fifth Avenue Floral set. I stamped the flowers in real red and brilliant blue. The rose is watercolored with real red watercolor crayon.
The card on the right is made with Petal Pizazz. I added one more color in with YoYo Yellow.
Off to the Beach!! The sun has come out and the rain has gone away.
Enjoy your Holiday!

Great take on the challenge Marilyn! Love them both, esp. the rose "flag" card!
Your rose flag is really cool! TFS!
Both are very creative and pretty, but your rose flag is so clever. Nice work...

Love em both! I got the petal pizazz awhile ago and have yet to use it!! I think I'm gonna pull it out!! Have a great day!
Love your cards...Everyone's take is usually patriotic with red, white and blue...But your take on it is the BEST!
Totally Cute!
Oh man, I love them both! That Manhattan flower is really itching to be mine. :) I need to get it!

Love both cards.
Lucky you to head off to the beach, hope you had a good time. I'm playing catch up today on commenting. Both your cards were nice but I really like the Rose Flag card. What a great idea.
