Recreating Cards & Challenge

People have often asked me where I get my inspiration. If I see a card layout that I really like I will use that layout and change the stamps or the paper.
This is a great example. I was cleaning out aold card samples to make way for the new and found this Sale-a-bration card that I really liked. Of course the paper and stamp set used for htis card are retired but I can recreate the sample using new sets and papers.
The following cards were made with the new Thoroughly Modern and Cottage Wall designer papers and the Circle Circus stamp set. This stamp set is soooo flexible and can be used with any designer paper! So when you see a card idea that you like and it is a paper or stamp set that you don't have - don't fret! Copy it with another set of paper and stamp set that you do have!!
A couple of key points:
1. Remember that the paper does not need to look anything like the orignial paper.
2. Choose stamps that have a similar shape - they don't have to be a similar image at all!

Now for the challenge! I want to see what you can do!! Email me a picture of an inspirational card and then a picture of another card that you have made with a different paper and stamp (marilyn.sanclemente@comcast.net.net)! I can't wait to see what everyone does!
Happy Stampin'!
