Blogger's challenge

This week's blogger's challenge is a color challenge. Use green's, whites and neutrals. Well it just so happens that I was chatting with one of my Stampin' Friends last week and she mentioned that she would like to make something for St. Patrick's Day. So of course I was thinking in greens.

So this week I designed a couple of cards to celebrate our upcoming green holiday!

The first card is made with the new Totally Tess stamp set and shades of spring designer paper from the Occasions mini catalog. I used the shamrock from the Button Bear accessory stamp set.
I used old olive for the card base, certainly celery for the green strip at the bottom and old olive for the scalloped oval.

The second card is made with the flower pot from a retired stamp set - Friendship Grows. The card base is made with Certainly Celery and stamped with the background stamp - script which is the Irish blessing.
The second layer is garden green stamped with the clovers from the Fresh Cut set. The left most layer is handsome hunter punched with the pinking hearts border punch. I stamped white satin ribbon with the clover stamp from the Fresh cuts set.
Don't forget to check out my stampin' friends posts on their blogs!!
Have a great weekend!

Love these cards esp Tess with the added shamrock! See, there's no reason to get rid of old stamp sets. You never know when you're going to need them again. LOL!!
