Blogger's Challenge #150

Wow - 150 weeks for Blogger's challenge.  That is a looooonnnnnggg time!

This week's Blogger's Challenge is Mother's Day ideas.  So....  This is the card that I made for my Mother.  My Mother is a master gardener so when I saw this set, I knew it was something that would be great for her!!...  This is a the stamp set Garden from the Heart from the occasions mini catalog.  I do hope that this set makes it into the new catalog in July!!

I used certainly celery for the background card base.  I used the swiss dot embossing folder with Barely Banana cardstock for the background. The designer paper is Cottage Wall.  I used rich razzleberry ribbon and colored the sash on the hat with the rich razzleberry marker and drew on the dots to match the ribbon.

Happy Mother's Day to all of my friends!   I hope that you enjoy your day with your families.

Very nice. Such soft and pretty colors. Isn't it great when you find images that match the personality of the person receiving the card!

I'm not an earth gal or a gardener and when I saw this set, I said, "eh?" But you ladies are doing wonderful things with it and I'm looking at it now with great interest. This is very pretty!
