What a great weekend Emily & I have had working on the Stamp Out Breast Cancer Day and the Making Strides walk today! These are a few pictures from our fun.
We want to say thank you to everyone that helped out with our fundraiser on Sat. Our team raised over $2,000 which went directly to the Making Strides Foundation.
As is the way with any good crafting day - we had many great raffle items donated by Stampin' Up!, the demonstrators in the group and some local businesses. This was my project for the raffle. I found fabric with the Breast Cancer symbol a few weeks ago - so I just had to make one of the cute Savanah bags from Chick-n-Scratch. I then used the scraps with the Flower Folds die to make these cute pins which the Fashion Police - aka Emily - used as handouts for people wearing the most pink.
Today Emily & I finished off our weekend with the Making Strides walk along the Charles today. A beautiful day for a 5.7 mile stroll through downtown Boston and Cambridge.
The view of the Hatch Shell when walking over the Fiedler bridge from Storrow Drive to the Esplanade.
Thanks to everyone that made donations for our walk!!
