Royal Blog Tour - Snow Swirled

Welcome to the Kingdom of Tewksbury, Massachusetts and my Castle on the Royal Blog Tour!!

I am featuring the stamp set Snow Swirled on this tour.  This is one of my favorite Christmas stamp sets.  I love the Christmas tree and snowflakes and have used it many times over the past two years.

During this tour I am featuring a couple of projects made with this set.
My first project is a card that I made with the Deck the Halls designer paper and the Christmas tree from the Snow Swirled set...
I know that it is hard to see - but I stamped the tree with versamark and artichoke ink and embossed it with irridescant ice EP.  Then I used the new Rhinestone Jewels on the swirls of the tree.   The star on the top of the tree is stamped and embossed in gold.  So pretty with just enough glitter but not too much!

I layered the tree on always artichoke and gold cardstock.  I used the heart border punch with gold cardstock to layer the Deck the Halls designer paper.  All of this on is a layer of Artichoke that has been embossed with the textiles embossing folder.

My second project today is... another version of the Christmas tree.  One of my favorite non-traditional color combinations for the Holidays is pink and green.  So each year,  I pull out the sheets of Christmas designer papers that have pink and green colors and design a card around these colors.
This card is made with certainly celery, whisper white and pink pirouette.  The tree is stamped with white ink and embossed with white EP on pink cardstock.  I shilouetted the tree and layered it onto a piece of celery cardstock that I cut with my favorite nestabilities set.  The celery cardstock is stamped with versamark and embossed with irridescant ice for just a little sparkle!
I used a Rhinestone brad at the top of the tree  and Rhinestone jewels on the swirls of the tree.  I stamped snowflakes in celery and pink on the white layer behind the tree and used the diagonal stripe from the Candy Cane designer paper on the side.

and my final project for this tour is....

the Snowflake in gold.  I love the combination of white and gold.  Now that Stampin' Up! has embossing folders this combination looks soooo elegant!

This card uses gold cardstock with white cardstock embossed with the Pick a Petal embossing folder.  I used the gold Smooch peralized ink to highlight the center of each flower.  I then stamped the snowflake in gold and embossed it and layered it onto a small square of whisper white.  This is layered onto another layer of whisper white that is embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper folder.

Blog Candy
Leave me a comment with your favorite card and I will enter you for a chance to win my blog candy - the Snow Swirled Stamp Set.   Check my blog the day after tour ends and I will be posting the winner of the Blog Candy and the vote for everyone's favorite card!  Don't forget to leave your contact information, email address, so I can find you!
I hope you have enjoyed your stay at my castle!
