Blogger's Challenge - Week 47 & 48

I am slowly catching up on my posts! This is the Blogger's Challenege for week 47 which was to use the layout from the card on page 21 of the Occasions mini. I wasn't very original in that I didn't change the stamp set. I did change the paper and used leftover designer paper from the Holiday pack. This dog is so cute!!

Week 48 challenge
This week's blogger's challenge was to make a card using red, white and blue. Well I am in Father's Day mode right now, finishing ideas for my upcoming Father's Day classes. So I used pomegranite (a little darker than real red, white and brilliant blue). I do like the way this card came out.

The greeting is from the All Holiday set. I used chipboard stars and embossed them with white ink and white embossing powder. I used the stamp set Seeing Spots to make the background on the right side of the fold. This is a gate fold card which I will be teaching in my Fun Folds Class II on Thurs. May 29th.

Father's Day Class

A Father's Day Name Frame & Tri-fold card. Also check out the card that I made for the Blogger's challenge.

I have been working on some ideas for Father's Day. I will be scheduling a kids class one evening for kids to make one or more of the following items for Father's Day.

I will also teach this class on the Cape on Sat. June 14th at the First Lutheran Chuch in West Barnstable.
