New Samples

Over the next couple of days I'll post some cards that me and my group have made using the new sets from the Occasions mini catalog and the upcoming Sale-a-bration mini catalog.

These first two cards are made with the new edgelet cutting and embossing dies for the Big Shot.  I just love the really neat edges that we can now cut and emboss using these new dies!

The first card is one that I made using the new designer paper and stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog.  The edgelet die and embossing folder are now available in the Occasions mini catalog.

The second card is one that my friend and downline Jeanne Nielsen made using the new Twitterpated Designer paper in the Occasions mini catalog.  She used the scallop border die and the embossing folder.

I have been seeing so many great ideas with these edgelet dies!

Stay tuned for more postings!

Blogger's Challenge #149

Good Morning,

The theme of this week's blogger's challenge is embossing.  So I am showcasing two types of embossing today.

The background of this card is made with whisper white cardstock which has been embossed with the Finial Press Embossing folder using the Sissix Big shot.

The second type of embossing is heat embossing.  I stamped the new Butterfly stamp "All A Flutter" with copper ink and heat embossed the image with copper embossing powder.

The white on white with dry embossing is becoming one of my favorite styles of cards!

I can't wait to see what my fellow blogger's have designed!

Have a great weekend!

Blogger's Challenge

Good Morning. I am a little behind from Friday and am working to get caught up today!!

The blogger's challenge from last week was the theme of Love. Well, I have this card which is a CASE from a card that one of my customers had. She travels to FL in the winter and takes card classes with someone in FL. She showed me this card and I just had to CASE it. I used my Big shot and our texture plates to do the texture. I used the butterfly die to cut the butterfly.

The pearls are attached with Crystal Effects. What a beautiful card for a wedding!

Enjoy,

Marilyn
P.S. My goal for this week; to do the blogger's challenge card on time!!
