Cascading Cards
This card is so neat... It is a cascading card with flowers on the multiple layers. One of my Stampin' Friends Laura Lipe made a couple of these cards. You can see her Valentine's card here. So I just had to figure them out.
I will be posting directions soon.
The flowers are made using the Mixed Bunch stamp set from the Occasions mini. I used the Blossom punch to punch out the flowers and added more flowers with the triple blossom punch.
Don't recognize the paper? This is new designer paper that will be available in April! So stay tuned!
Also I have designed two new card kits using the Mixed Bunch stamp set.

Technostamper Challenge 221
What could be better than new toys to play with?!!
This month, Stampin' UP! demonstrators are able to pre-order one of the new designer papers that will be in the new catalog in June. This is the Summer Smooches designer paper with matching jumbo brads. One of the things that I have wanted to find time for is Mary Jo Price William's challenges. I love her sketch challenges. She posts one every Monday but I haven't had time recently to take on her challenge.
This card uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set from the new Occasions mini catalog. I love this stamp set and have seen so many beautiful things made with this set. My next card kit will be with this stamp set. Mixed Bunch also has a matching punch, the Blossom punch. I used the Triple Blossom punch from the catalog to make the coordinating flowers.
Don't forget to check out what other's have made using Mary Jo's sketch!!
Now that I have finished my post I see that most of the other cards are using the Mixed Bunch stamp set too. Great minds think alike!

Finally....
Ok - I am back!! I know that I have been missing in action lately. I had the computer crash and then was traveling across the great state of NY looking at colleges with my daughter... It is so hard to believe that I left the corporate world 11 years ago when my DD was starting 1st grade and my son was going into 5th grade. Now they are both Jr's. Emily in high school and looking at colleges and John studying engineering at Clarkson. Where does time go??
I am digressing... I just received my box of goodies today from our summer catalog pre-order!! Can't wait to dig into that tonight and tomorrow!!
I wanted to also showcase a card that one of my regular stampin' friends made last week. Judy Keown is a regular at my Wednesday stamps. Judy is a great artist and also does quilting and painting. When you see one of her cards that is made with an outline stamp and colored in - you will see what I mean about her coloring talent!!
This is a card that she just whipped together last week with the Mixed Bunch stamp set. I love this stamp set and have seen some really neat ideas made with it.

Judy used the Twitterpatted Designer paper for this card.
She added pearls to highlight the center of the flower.
Stop by tomorrow for Open Stamp!!
