Blogger's Challenge

This week's blogger's challenge was to use texture. So what a great opportunity to play with the new texture plates!!! I love these!!

I am not sure how well the texture shows on these cards. This idea is a total CASE from Priscilla Aguilar on her blog Faerie Dreams and Paper Wishes.

She made a couple of cards using the Fresh Cuts cards and the texture plates. I love the idea and I had a lot of Fresh Cuts that have been just sitting around! What a great spring card!

On the first card - I ran the fresh cut card through the texture plate. Bella Rose Designer Paper is layered behind the open flower and I used the Pretties flowers to accent the center. The second card is made using the texture plate for the pink layer in the middle of the card. I used the Fresh Cuts stamp set and Rose ink to stamp and accent the card. The Third card, I stamped the front of the card with playful petals and then ran that through the texture plate. I used afternoon tea designer paper for the inside.

I can't wait to see what my other friends have done!

Happy Stampin'

Very pretty note cards. The embossing shows up (when clicked on) and looks lovely.
