Blog Tour is Today!! - Stop 2 Very Versatile

Welcome to Tewksbury, MA! It is a beautiful day here in the Boston Area!!

These were the cards that I made for our very first blog tour!! Each member of the blog tour prepared samples from one set in the Occasions mini catalog.

I featured 3 great ideas designed with the Very Versatile Stamp Set from the Occasions Mini catalog. Even thought the links from the tour have been removed I am still going to leave my cards posted.

The first sample is made with Rose Red and Rose Rhapsody Cardstock. The designer paper is Raspberry Tart. I layered twill tape on top of Rose Grosgrain Ribbon. The Happy Birthday is stamped with Stazon onto the twill tape.

Card 2 is made with the Bella Bleu designer paper, bordering blue and not quite navy cardstocks.

Card 3 is a beautiful black and white card that my stampin' friend Cindy Wilford made on Friday night. Cindy used the new eyelet scallop punch along the bottom of the card. She layered two ovals to make the heart behind the oval stamped with the sentiment.

I am offering Blog Candy as a thanks for stopping by my blog. Enter a comment to let me know that you stopped by and which card you like the best. I will draw a name from the comments and send the winner a Free spool of Red Grosgrain Ribbon. Check back on Tuesday to find out if you have won!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Marilyn

I love the first one. Love the colors & the way that you "stamped off" I think that is the right term (see I am learning) to make the tree fuller.

Very nice cards. I like the way you have managed to use the same floral and yet get 3 different looks all very nice . Not sure what the 3 dots are in the bottom right of the blue card (my fav) looks neat tho. Are they brads or buttons or what? thanks
